Man sentenced in DUI
A Covington County man has been sentenced on two counts of DUI-related vehicular manslaughter in the deaths of two hurricane-recovery workers from Missouri in 2006.
NORCO - When three youths died in 2005 from alcohol-related traffic accidents, city officials vowed to fight drunken driving and underage drinking. A year later, thanks to funding from the state's Office of Traffic Safety, the city was able to decrease tragedies and increase arrests.
