Former Mayor in Court
NEWINGTON — Former Newington mayor Thomas McBride is scheduled to appear in Superior Court Friday on charges stemming from a December arrest. He was arrested in Berlin and charged with failure to obey a traffic signal and DUI.
The Chiefland Police Department was out in force last week in an effort to promote driving safety that included a DUI checkpoint and a special school zone speeding law enforcement detail.
